Brianna Vargas
graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree in Sociology and is currently a student in NYU's Mental Health Counseling Program. She has a strong passion for mental health and working to continually increase her knowledge about diverse contexts of mental health and wellness across populations. She has experience in providing support to adolescents in fostering environments of fun, safety, and growth. Her areas of interest also include working with children, young adults, couples, and families in creating a space of warmth and genuineness that allow for insights to be discovered and personal development. With interests in cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, she values openness and collaboration with goals of understanding and breaking patterns to make for a better quality of living.
